Coraline. A 3-D fantasy film that catches my heart

Maybe this is all a mother's hormone? haha

I noticed that ever since i become a mother, i'm a bit sensitive over some issues

Issues surrounding child, love, and all things evolve around that

Coraline is a 3-D movie i happen to watch last 2 days

A movie about 11 year old girl, Coraline Jones, who is given less attention by her parents whom currently working on a gardening catalog

Always being left alone, she explores the new house that they had just moved into and found a small door that have been wallpapered over

Her mother opens the door when Coraline promises that she would do her things and will not disturb her mother again, only to find that the door was covered in bricks

Later that night, a mouse come and bring her to the door, where she found out that the bricks were gone and there's a passageway to other door

This door gets her in 'the other world' where she met her 'other mother' and 'other father' that looks very much alike, only that their eyes is a black button

This 'other mother' is a perfect mother, none like he real mother. This 'other mother' cooked lots of delicious foods for her, answers all her questions and pays full attention towards her..

In the middle of the story, we'll know that the 'other mother' is actually a bad creature, trying to kidnapped Coraline from her parents

She had also kidnapped some other children, kept their soul and hid in a magic mirror

Coraline started to realize that the 'other mother' is not the type of mother she wants when the 'other mother' told Coraline that she can stay with her forever only if she agrees to have buttons sewn to her eyes

Coraline refuses and then things started to go bad

To force Coraline, the 'other mother' trapped Coraline parents in a crystal ball...

Coraline managed to escape from the 'other world' returning to an empty home as her parents has been kidnapped by the 'other mother'

Previously feeling hate over her parents, Coraline sleep alone that night on her parents bed,

kissing 2 pillows that she put on both her side, picturing that it is her father and mother...

This part is really sad...imagining a child so little...missing her parents...

What i love about this movie:

At first, the movie is just about a girl who thinks that her parents did not love her

Then hate begins to form...Coraline thinks that the 'other parents' are far better than her own parents...

But in the end, she realizes, no matter what happens, no matter how kind, how loving the 'other mother' is, she will only love her real parents....

And the way this movie shows that feeling is really something that i remember...

Definitely worth watching...

And for sure, this is not just a mother's hormone...

Eclipse - Twilight Saga. Better than New Moon & Twilight

Finally, i managed to watch the 3rd series of Twilight Saga - Eclipse
I - am- very - much - excited


werewolf, vampire and a human lady


Luckily, my excitement was not washed down the drain
I managed to make myself out of the cinema with smile - eager to watch it like maybe for the 2nd time, or 10th? ^_^

It is absolutely better than Twilight & New Moon of course
If you read the books, you'll understand what i mean as the book itself has shown it
Eclipse had more stories in it, more action and fighting scene - which i think suites the lifestyle of a vampire? haha like i ever met one or like they even exist
What i mean is that they drink blood so naturally they will get into fights more than man should
Right?

I'm in Team Edward and i am a bit sad as i think he is too white in Eclipse
I think he is not that white during Twilight & New Moon
I don't like men when they are too white
They look like they are missing the macho elements in them +_+
Jacob looks better with his tan skin hoh

But i'm still in Team Edward +_+
You can say he's ancient or old fashion
I DON'T CARE
Because he-is-ancient
He was born in 1901 and was transformed into vampire in 1918
So he is ancient. No doubt.

But (another but), if I am not ashamed to be in both group +_+
I bet i'll be in Team Jacob as well
Why?
Have you read Breaking Dawn?
If you have, then you should know how Jacob put aside his family and pack, he abandoned them only to save Bella when the pack wants to kill her and the baby she carries
Even though at that time Bella is already married to Edward
He risks his life for Bella many times

Okay, enough of the overly-passionate-Twilight-fan-thing

So, for those who hasn't watch Eclipse yet
Please do so!!!!! haha

Oh, and better buy your ticket online. Or you'll end up getting the most front seat in the cinema
Or you have to go home and watch it some other time
I want to watch it on last Friday, but it's all FULL from 8pm until midnight
For Saturday, i only managed to buy online ticket for 9:40pm session. Other time fully booked!


It's better, more action and drama
oh, and it's funnier too!^_^
Forget about all the snogging scenes. It's a romantic movie. Of course the scene is there.


I know when it comes to movies like this, there are people who hates it as well
But it's really stupid and humiliating if you haven't seen the movie yet, and you say it's not good

better don't post about it on your blog, BOOing the movie, and say something like 'Dakota plays her role better than Kristen in the movie' or 'the movie had only plenty kissing scene' and then say 'I haven't watch it yet'
bah!
I think that really makes you sound stupid


Don't put your expectation too high
If you want to watch an action movie, go watch something like Predators maybe?
Eclipse is a teenage love story. A teenage girl falls in love with a vampire. And then a werewolf come into the picture.
That's it.

Cuma satu benda je macam potong...time Edward dgn Victoria nak lawan2 tu, adegan terbang sambil pijak pokok tu macam fake sikit...sob...sob...

I am Team Edward....as usual...ngeh...ngeh....

Anyway saye suka tengok all the Twilight movies bukan sebab hero dia or heroin dia....
Tu pun menarik juga...tapi tu sampingan aje...
Sebabnya adalah jalan cerita dia...
You SHOULD read the books. You'll be addicted....^_^

Clash of The Titans. Bolehlah.

Minggu lepas pergi tgk Clash of the Titans
Last sekali tengok wayang bersama Encik Husband adalah New Moon
oleh itu sangat teruja :)

CGI cerita ni memang nampak hebat
Dengan aksi pertarungan kala jengking, 3 orang witches yang kongsi mata, babak lawan-lawan main pedang semua nampak hebat
Cuma rasanya dari segi ekspresi muka dan intonasi suara kurang sikit
Mungkin pelakon dia sibuk dengan aksi pedang-pedang maka bila bercakap jadi tak berapa best

Tak mengapa
Overall cerita ni Ok. Kalau takde movie nak tengok, bolehlah tengok movie ni..huhu

Aku ada satu persoalan
Kalau korang dah tengok movie ni
Hero cerita ni Perseus, guna duit syiling emas untuk masuk ke gua Medusa perempuan berambut ular
Gua Medusa ni kena naik bot baru boleh. Dalam air tu tak taulah pulak ada apa...ada resakse la kot.
Duit syiling emas tu dia baling dalam air.....kemudian barulah ada bot datang....bot takkan datang kalau takde upah duit syiling emas tu
Bila si Perseus ni sampai kat gua Medusa, bot tu pun blah...

Soalan aku: Lepas bunuh si Medusa, camne pulak Si Perseus boleh keluar dari gua Medusa tu. Sedangkan dia cuma ada sekeping duit syiling aje. Dan duit tu dia dah campak dalam air.

Hahaha...

Mungkin dia ada Hikmat Meringankan Badan macam dalam komik Alam Perwira yang aku suka tu
